Drum Configuration & CustomizationThe versatility of the North Coast facility allows virtually any configuration to be designed.
Specification ProcessEvery container manufactured by North Coast is processed according to a controlled customer specification. Essential to delivering a quality product, a manufacturer must be certain that the customer receives the product ordered. Due to the variation involved in producing today's modern shipping container, North Coast's rigorous specification process assures our customers they receive the correct product as required. The specification process reviews the drum configuration, determines any regulatory requirements (ANSI, DOT, UN, etc), and assesses proper usage. In other words, the process assures our customers they have the right drum for the right job. As part of our Quality Policy, North Coast regularly reviews customer specifications. The review allows us to maintain safety, quality, and research potential cost savings. When innovations suggest themselves, we work with the customer to improve the specification in a variety of ways. For example, the steel expansion features of our new forming line will allow us to save costs on steel raw materials without compromising integrity or quality. Savings we can deliver to our customers. A certificate of compliance documenting conformance with the specification is available for every order. Inventory ProgramsTo aid in managing drum supply for our large account customers, North Coast offers various services:
